Leadership Atoka
Presented by the Atoka Area Chamber of Commerce
Developing Leaders. Strengthening Atoka County.
Leadership Atoka is a nine-month leadership development program designed to cultivate, connect, and inspire current and emerging leaders who are committed to strengthening Atoka County.
Through a combination of leadership training and hands-on community experiences, participants gain a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, and systems that make Atoka thrive.
Program Overview
Leadership Atoka runs August through May and includes monthly sessions focused on leadership development and community engagement.
Each session includes:
- A half-day leadership development workshop led by local and regional experts
- A half-day immersive experience with a key community partner
- Interactive discussions, assessments, and relationship-building opportunities
No session is held in December.
Program Goals
Leadership Atoka is designed to:
- Build strong, informed, and connected local leaders
- Foster collaboration across business, government, education, and community service
- Equip participants with practical leadership tools
- Encourage long-term civic engagement and community pride
