Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma (FHCSO) will host the OU Health Mobile Lung Screening Unit in Atoka on March 27 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This service provides low-dose CT scans designed to detect lung cancer at earlier, more treatable stages—often before symptoms appear.
Lung cancer screening is especially important for individuals with a history of smoking. Early detection can significantly improve outcomes and treatment options.
Individuals between the ages of 50–80 who currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years may qualify for screening.
Costs vary depending on insurance coverage, and the OU mobile unit accepts most major insurance plans. FHCSO encourages individuals to call the clinic to confirm eligibility, review insurance coverage, and schedule an appointment.
📞 To schedule an appointment or ask questions: 580-371-2343
Early detection saves lives. Community members who may qualify are encouraged to take advantage of this important screening opportunity.
