Chamber Hosted Events

The Chamber hosts 24 networking events between general membership meetings, and Chillin’ with the Chamber events. We also partner with local entities to provide events throughout the year. The general membership meetings swap between breakfast and lunch to allow everyone the chance to attend at least one meeting. Odd months are breakfast meetings hosted at membership businesses (i.e. March, May, July), and on the even months (i.e. April, June, August) lunch is hosted at the Atoka Community Building (983 W Liberty Rd.).

The week before Easter is always full of fun family activities. From dropping eggs out of helicopter for hundreds of kids to quiet family traditions, there’s something for everyone.

The Chamber hosts an egg hunt, and provides Easter baskets to the winning children. The Hunt for the Golden egg is the week before Easter (March 18th through 22nd 2024).

How do you participate? There are businesses across Atoka hiding a golden egg. Once a child has located the egg, and notified the business, they bring it to the Chamber Office (435 E Court St.) to exchange it for their prize.

A list of participating businesses will be provided during the event.

Each September the Atoka Trail Riders host the biggest rodeo event of the year. The Chamber is a proud supporter of our local rodeo organizations.

The ATR Rodeo has been a partner to our community for 70 years, a proud member of the UPRA, and are growing each year. Events hosted at the arena include barrel races, bull riding events, clinics, and tractor pulls.

Thousands flock to Atoka during the annual Homecoming and Alumni Banquet. On average Atoka can see as many as 4,000 extra travelers.

The Homecoming Parade is a huge event that occurs in September in Downtown Atoka. Local school students work tirelessly to showcase their creative skills in the design of the floats, dance and walking groups.

We partner with local law enforcement and municipalities to host a free community event for National Night Out.

The goal of National Night Out is to foster positive interactions with the citizens of our community into contact with emergency and law enforcement.

Due to the extreme heat in Oklahoma the event is typically held later in the year instead of the nationally recognized month of August.

Atoka is now a stop on the way to the National Finals Rodeo. During the spring, the Atoka Pro Rodeo is hosted by McCoy Rodeo at the Atoka Trail Riders Arena.

Still relatively new, the event has continued to grow with each year. The Atoka Pro Rodeo draws champion bull riders, barrel racers, steer wrestling, and roping who are all vying for the points needed to make it to the NFR.
